1. Where is Yushi

2. Do you take bookings?
Yushi is an up-market fast casual dining experience, which means we don't take bookings. However we always aim to accommodate larger parties where possible so it is worth letting us know in advance should you require more table space. View our locations page for more information.

3. Can I smoke in the restaurant?
All of our restaurants are non smoking, even if it wasn’t against the law they still would be. No point eating healthy food and smoking at the same time!

4. Do you cater for vegetarians?
We have a wide range of vegetarian options available. View our menu here

6. Who is the executive chef?
Each Yushi restaurant has its own head chef and sushi master. In addition to this Shaun Presland is our executive chef.

7. What does Yushi mean?
Yushi is a Japanese name which, honestly, has no particularly deep meaning. We liked it because, after considering well over a hundred names for our concept, Yushi seemed to say the most about what we did. We asked our store team and they liked it, everybody liked it so that’s our name! 

8. Where can I find out about jobs at Yushi?
This depends on which type of job you are interested in. For cashier and kitchen team member roles it is recommended that you visit any of our restaurants and request an application form. once completed and handed back in you will be contacted by either the store manager or the head chef. If you are interested in a senior kitchen / chef position or a senior management position we recommend that you check out our jobs page.

9. When was yushi founded and by whom?
Yushi was founded in 2007 by Luke Fryer and Spencer Rothschild.

10. Who owns Yushi?
Yushi is owned by Luke Fryer, Spencer Rothschild and a small group of private investors who were kind and brave enough to back our vision for a new concept that would offer a revolutionary way of eating an age old staple.

11. Are there franchise opportunities?
We do not currently franchise. We are however interested in certain strategic joint venture operations in certain markets including: California, Chicago, Miami and Seattle. Hong Kong, Germany, Brazil and Spain.
